Located in the new Odin building (circa 2016), Mūsu is an Apres Bar and Bistro serving great coffee, great food and delicious drinks and cocktails.

As you walk up to the second floor of the new Odin building, you can’t help but feel like you are in one of the greatest ski villages in the world. With a warm, contemporary layout you can’t help but feel comfortable when you sit down. With floor to ceiling glass and sweeping views of the village and up to the mountain there isn’t a bad seat. Not to mention some comfy couches and a traditional fireplace.

Breakfast starts with delicious barista made coffee and a range of house teas by JING. Then dive into a western inspired breakfast menu. Don’t overlook the Eggs Benedict and Classic bacon and eggs, or if you need something a little fresher the Granola or Fruit Salad are a great way to kick a day off before you head up the hill.

The lunch offering is quite vast. You can have everything from a Salad to Hokkaido Cod or maybe even a cheeky pasta or the Pork Shoulder. Not matter what you order, expect delicious, hearty food to get you through a big afternoon of skiing (or onsening) not to mention a few desserts for the sweet tooth.

Heading into the business end of the day we see the transformation into an Apres Tapas bar. Feast on an array of classic tapas style dining with a Hokkaido influence, or maybe spend the eve nibbling on a cheese plate with fresh bread and fig chutney.

Moving to the back pages, Mūsu has every base covered. If it’s a couple of tap beers (nama) or a wine and cocktail night, you are in sound position. With a tight wine menu, French and Italian sparkling, Australian Shiraz, or a Spanish Tempranillo  you will find something. Or if you are looking to kick off the night with a cocktail, the menu is all very original and has some classic roots with an amazing Niseko/Japanese twist. The Yuzu Negroni is delicious or try a Genki favourite – the Wasabi Margarita. If you are struggling to decide, don’t be scared to ask. The staff are great and will send you in the right direction.
