Ground Pub Niseko is Kutchans best kept secret.

As you walk in, you will be greeted by the owner and runner of the show, Tomita. He is an amazing host and has a deceptively cheeky sense of humour! Tomita is meticulous with everything he does and the whisky and cocktails reflect that perfectly.

For the whisky fan, there is everything from Hokkaido local spirits to world favourites, it is a true whisky lovers paradise. One of our favourites is the Hokkaido Yoichi – some of their special editions will blow you away.

Cocktail fans are not missed with all of your favourites covered and his house specialties are worth a try. Don’t be scared to skip the menu and let Tomita make something for you. Just let him know what flavours you like and he will whip you up a bespoke cocktail.

Not to forget the beer fans. Ground Pub Niseko actually has a rare find on tap. Kirin Brau Meister is on tap and if you haven’t tried it, you must. It is a Rice Lager, heading towards a Pilsner with a classic Japanese flavour and a hint of ze Germans coming through.

You will find Ground Pub Niseko on the main road heading towards Kutchan station. Ground Pub Niseko is one of the best Whisky and Cocktail bars going round. If you are staying in a nearby village, Ground Pub is easy to get to via one of the local buses, the Niseko United bus, or is a short taxi trip from Niseko and Hirafu.

So, if you are staying in Grand Hirafu, Niseko, Annupuri or anywhere close to Kutchan you must check it out.

Ground Pub Niseko is 100% Genki Approved!
