Bang Bang in Grand Hirafu is a bit of a big deal. So big of a deal, they had to open another one! Band Duex or Bang 2 which you can check out here.

We will focus on Bang Bang today. An Izakaya at heart, Bang Bang serves up some beautiful fresh Hokkaido produce in a warm very Japanese experience.

When you first come in you will be welcomed by a wooded interior and taken by the smells of their Bincho charcoal Yakitoi grill.  There is counter seats and larger group tables so their is an option for everyone from a group table to an intimate meal.

A classic Japanese Izakaya menu with plenty to chose from. You can have some basic delights like buttered corn and Japanese pickles to some amazing fresh seasonal seafood cooked or raw depending on your mood. Check out the seasonal menu for something fun (if you can try the hairy crab) and explore the Sashimi seafood menu. Everything is always fresh and delicious. Not to forget the yakitori menu has a grilled piece of goodness for everyone. A must try to check out their famous grill flavour.

If you are keen for a beverage, they have you under control. A comprehensive drink menu will have even the pickiest sipper happy.

Easy to access, tucked away in Upper Hirafu Bang Band is very easy to find. Bang 2 isn’t far away either.
