Asahikawa Ramen Tozanken is nearly always busy. When you see somewhere, that’s always busy you think, that must be pretty good! In this instance, that is exactly right. It’s actually called Tozanken and the style is Asahikawa Ramen.

When you think Japan, one of the first things you think is Ramen and rightfully so. The delicious bowl of goodness that is so beautifully different everywhere you go is one of the greatest hunger smackers when you have had a long day up the hill.

Asahikawa Ramen Tozanken have a broad menu with a Ramen focus. From Vegtable ramen to deep rich meaty goodness, there is a bowl of Ramen for everyone. If you turn up and someone isn’t in the mood for noodles, they also have a greta range of Donburi (rice bowls) and sides to make your meal complete. There is some great seafood options worth looking at to sample some of Hokkaido’s fantastic produce.

It is easy to find, just up the road heading towards the Mountain from the main Hirfu intersection. It does get very busy, so make sure you give yourself enough time to get a seat. If you have to wait, don’t worry, it will be worth it.
