Southside Diner

Comments off

For some delicious food and a great time head on in to the Southside Diner in Creekside!

The menu is well planned and offers a variety of customisable meals and drinks for breakfast and lunch right up until 4pm. Stay a bit longer on a Friday or Saturday because the doors won’t shut till 9 pm. (Times may vary with the seasons & for special events.)

The venue is a classic roadhouse style diner and keenly regarded by many as the first port of call when returning to the beautiful region.

Once upon a time I had the great fortune of living a short stroll from Southside Diner and I certainly made the most of it. Southside Diner really cater to the need, whether it is after a big night out hunting a solid breakfast meal, or cruising in for a nice dinner, they had all my bases covered.

I’m a sucker for a classic it seems, but the poutine here is fantastic! Option it up with some buffalo chicken or meatloaf for a great combo resulting in a big cheesy grin. There are plenty of options on the menu though, so if that’s not your flavour, go exploring and see what tickles your fancy. The entire breakfast menu is solid and the burgers get a great deal of praise.

The staff are very friendly and offer a speedy service. Amazingly they can also sense your hangover from a mile away so if you had a big night you won’t even need to think, Caesars and a big breakfast will be at the ready for a speedy recovery. The team really turns it on day-in day-out and all year round!

You can track down the menu on their website here
