Christine’s on Blackcomb

Comments off

Christine’s on Blackcomb is a must when visiting the Whistler region of BC. The fantastic food, panoramic views and expertly cultivated menu offer a fantastic escape from the cold when you need a rest and a re-fuel.

Located on the Blackcomb side of the enormous resort and within the Rendezvous Lodge building, this absolute gem is parked at a staggering 1,860m or 6,102ft!

Sound good? Well then, grab your snow gear and get above the clouds!

Once you get to Christine’s, the panoramic views of the gorgeous Whistler region will captivate you. The carefully crafted dishes will delight and the wine list compliments the menu beautifully.

Christine’s is truly a ‘ski-in ski-out’ operation. This wonderful venue is conveniently located by the Solar Coaster Express chairlift and very close to the famous ‘Peak 2 Peak’ Gondola as well.

Once you have enjoyed the gorgeous view, some seriously tasty food and a warm and elegant atmosphere, leaving Christine’s can be quite a challenge. But we hope that if  your mittens have thawed out you may find the strength to head back out there and carve up some snow!

Get familiar with some of the delights of the menu right here before you head in. We enjoy it all. Using the finest ingredients from locally sourced fresh produce will surely delight. The Crispy Pork Belly and Albacore tuna are among two of our mouth-watering favourites.

We visit every time we are in town and my strong suggestion would be to add it to your to-do list when in the region, we are sure it will impress!

Christine’s isn’t only open in winter so keep up to date with their facebook  for more info as the seasons change.

It’s easy to find and it’s even easier to enjoy once you do.

Fine dining – Excellent location – Excellent service – Exceptional views

Alec took his slabs of wood worldwide for years. He floated around enjoying basic day to day creature comforts like salt, beers and nasi goreng, amidst chasing snow for as many days of the year as possible. Then he got a day job... But the dream lives on, Today he loves nothing more than snowboarding, writing for Genki and just being the #1 snow hound this world has ever seen.
