UPDATE – Sugars is closed.
For the time poor or the adventure hungry, sugars is a great little spot to pick up a quick munch-able that has more nutritional value than whats on offer at the service station or vending machine at perisher. If you are barreling up the hill towards your day of exhilarating adrenaline fueled madness on skis, boards or back country goodness, stop by and stock up on some quick eats! Why not grab a coffee or hot chocolate at the same time? They have got you covered there too so get your caffeine kick and stay sharp as you head up the slopes.
Conveniently located in town centre and surrounded by loads of hire shops and retail stores providing all your ‘on-hill’ essentials. So, if you happen to have forgotten anything in the mad hustle to get your car packed and on the road, you know you are covered! I always seem to lose an item or two, gloves, beanies, face masks you name it I have misplaced it.
Sugar’s doesn’t seem to ever close, so if you happen to see their doors shut you know it is definitely bed time. They even cater to the hoards of tourists, locals and seasonal a like that pile onto the streets after a night on the town, as I said, if they are shut go to bed!
Sugar’s has everything for everyone, from the classics to the exotic. It has all the good stuff that doesn’t break the bank and it fuels the fire that puts riders in top form on the mountain by day, and adds a kick of energy to the soldiers of the night battling their way up the hills of Jindabyne after an evening of livations. A true warrior in the heart of Jindabyne.
They are not the only bakery in town but with a name like ‘Sugars’… are they the sweetest?… you decide!
