Perisher Valley

The Eiger Chalet is a nice little tucked away spot in Perisher Valley that is hiding in plain sight, you will have to eject from your skis or boards to get there but it’s worth it (and really a pretty short journey from the lift or ski tube building).

This European Alps inspired bar offers a number of treats including; live music, drinks that include the likes of mulled wine!! Cocktails and European imported beers as well, all pieced together in a cosy warm space for maximum enjoyment & warmth.

You have to see it for yourself to really take it on-board but we recommend you do that. It’s a great way to shake up the trip and do something a little bit different without stepping too far from the norm.

This post is intended to address the open to the public bar that the Eiger Chalet features, as you can imagine from the title ‘Chalet’ dictates the basis for this establishment, and if you are curious about staying there for winter then check this link out Eiger Chalet Website & Eiger Chalet Facebook to get them on Social Media. the building also features *POST COMING SOON* the White Spider Restaurant, which is yet another awesome feature of the place.

Back to the Eiger, You will recognise this building from anywhere on Front valley and its surrounds, it is what it looks like, a hotel at the snow. but you mightn’t have known the doors are open to the public. You must check it out, there’s not much else more we can say about it. We like it. a lot.

Enjoy responsibly.

Location is great, drinks are great and Nearby options are great.

Alec took his slabs of wood worldwide for years. He floated around enjoying basic day to day creature comforts like salt, beers and nasi goreng, amidst chasing snow for as many days of the year as possible. Then he got a day job... But the dream lives on, Today he loves nothing more than snowboarding, writing for Genki and just being the #1 snow hound this world has ever seen.
